This concert will feature the world premiere of MESSIAH IN AMERICA, a new oratorio composed by Brett Stewart and premiered by the Orange County Mormon Choir & Symphony Orchestra. With text taken from THE BOOK OF MORMON, this oratorio depicts the story of Christ's visit to the people on the American continent after His death and resurrection. Guest soloists are four preeminent and professional LDS artists in the United States: Erin Morley (soprano), Francesca Forsyth (alto), George Dyer (tenor), and John Huntington (bass). The concert also features OCMCO's Sunbeam Chorus, Children's Chorus, Youth Chorus, and Concert Choir singing all new music composed and arranged by Brett Stewart particularly for this occasion.
